Just an FYI: A stud (especially in aluminum) should always be "tightened" so it "becomes one" with the mating threads and the stud remains stationary while tightening or loosening the nut. The purpose behind this is to take the stress off the aluminum threads when tightening and loosening.
I guess Mopar didn't do a very good job at that then. I've pulled way more studs with the nuts attached then just the nut off the stud, back when I was working on this stuff starting in 72, and since. Many of those would have been 1st time starter removals. .
