I am an eternal optimist on this subject. The odds of a successful reunion are 50/50......... beer

Think about it....... either you will, or you will not!

If you do not try, then the odds are very slim.

I have quite a bit of experience in this area. Since starting The Challenger T/A Registry over two decades ago, the overall endeavor started to include AAR Cuda's.

Then it evolved again to include ALL 1970 Hamtramck built cars.

Another evolution was started for the 1970 LA built cars.

In my lifetime at this point I have personally either mailed out or personally delivered broadcast sheets, other related paperwork 442 items so far.

There was also a 340 block for a 1972 Road Runner. I left it with the owner's wife because he was at work, but that was well before I started any registries.

I have not counted what I call 'assists'. Hundreds of people have sent in paper items & fender tags for cars they have found, but of course no one is going to send in an engine or transmission. But there have been a lot of registry members that I have been able to put in touch with the person that had reported one, the other, or both for their car.

On several of those occasions, successful deals were made.

A year or two ago, three T/As got their original engines back in one month!

It always feels great when it happens. boogie

Best of luck with your search. up
