If possible could you take a kwik look at yours comparing it to the above pic or snap a pic and post it ?
The gray stuff is almost like a modeling clay that is getting real stiff. I just have trouble believing they would have manufactured it that way
Mine also has an external clip lead for grounding that I believe might be supposed to go to one of the two pins on the connector, but am not sure.
And i 'm having trouble finding any info online, even tried calling Snap OFF
I'm hesitant to do too much to it as it is working but only reads correctly when the ground clip is disconnected. Any clarification on both the capacitor and ground lead would be much appreciated
