70 Challenger, 5.7 Hemi, 518 in car.

Getting ready to test fit the 5.7 and wondering if coming in from side will work?
Car is in garage, so bringing engine from front on lift would be difficult because of the 1" step in concrete.
Nice level concrete floor on side, 2 car garage, with Challenger sitting against wall.

I pulled the 340 from front, not so bad going backwards down over the 1" drop, it was a pain pushing back the other way to drop engine in garage.

Best to leave transmission in final postion, or push back, drop in motor, and reconnect?

Any isues, or reason its better to come in from front?
I'm most likely going to be doing this twice, test fit, then final drop in.
