I thought I took a better pic that showed the threads on the back lip of this one, but you really can’t tell very well from this shot. It looks like some other adapter should screw onto the back end or maybe this is for some application where it threaded into the dash. I’ve been working on the dash of my car and this is one of the the last items not working. I found the plug in for it was covered in electrical tape, but the wire appears to be 100%. The plug went on this ok, but is a bit loose. I’m going to try and head back to the garage today and see if it works or not. It’s been about 20 years since I had one of these out and don’t recall what it should look like. I want my fair share
