Hi folks, For decades, Icelanders have competed in a unique off road competition. 4x4 heavily modified vehicles compete by challenging steep, almost vertical hills and get points for staying within the track marked as well as how fast they finish the runs. There might be like 6-8 different tracks per race. For many years the GM V-8 has been the favorable engine used. But the Mopar folks here in Iceland were happy to see two Hellcat powered "jeeps" at the first race this season. At 2:21 in this video you can see one of the Hellcats (green) make a spectacular try resulting in a back flip. The other Hellcat "Jeep" can be seen at 6:45. Both of them have 727 transmission and they are entirely built by their individual owners. And for those who want to see more google "formula off road Iceland" and you will see clips of these vehicles driving at high speeds on water, sometimes managing to float on the water due to the speed.
