I use a ratchet strap between the T bars to hold it up.

I have also used angle iron with holes drilled for ubolts to hold it to the T bars. I then bolted the angle iron to the front of the transmission but once I started using ratchet straps I found it overkill.

If you attach anything to the T bars make sure they don't have sharp edges to scratch them but it isn't hard to deal with.
