I'm working on my Darts side glass. I've got the new seals installed on the leading edge of the glass. After I polish the stainless on the vent window frame I'll be ready to slide the side glass onto the channel. I was watching some Youtube videos on how this all works and how the glass gets installed in the doors as an assembly. One video showed the guy putting grease in the vent window channel before sliding the glass in. I didn't see any evidence of any grease in the channel during disassembly. It seems like grease would attract dust and not be good to have in there. Am I right in assuming it should all go together dry? Then the plastic seals just ride up and down in the metal channel without any lube?
