OK, good suggestion. Right now the setup is configured for full time oiling, so I will take that into consideration as it gives me a starting point.

If I was to use the restrictor though, at which point in time does it become preferrable to use the oil through pushrod setup as well?

All my previous builds have used a non-oil through pushrod, but as tubtar pointed out: that option has worked for him fine so far and getting direct oil feed to that pressure point seems like an opportunity to rule out a potential problem from developing, so why not? (at least that's my thinking at the moment, and after all this is a NEW parts spend for me, so I might as well purchase the best solution)
