How important is throttle response? How tight is the converter? And what is the rear ratio? The dual plane will just plain respond and drive better in normal street driving with a tight street converter. It will probably give up some ponies up top. If the converter is looser than stock, or with lower rear gears, the extra RPM will dilute the advantages of the DP.
