I've had MORE leaks using RTV than anything else.I like the end seals that come with the kit (anyone "chucking" them--send them to me) with RTV, ONLY in the corners where the seperate gaskets join. I use either Indian Head shellac or the yellow "gorilla snot" on the end seals themselves and have great success as far as not having leaks. I have a Performer on my 83 D 250 right now sealed that way; but I used magnum intake gaskets since I have EQ heads on it.
