this is my truck for hauling seed for planting, about 18,000 lbs at at time, so yes, we put a big cam in it, and bored the end of the crank for a pilot bushing. Since the block is the same, the bell housing bolts right up, but the flywheel off my old 361 (rings finally failed) has bad surface cracks. I'm searching for a 15", 158 tooth flywheel to replace it. The front end is challenging too, as the 361 truck motor and 5 bolt water pump positioned the fan blade 5" higher than the normal 4 bolt water pump housings. I'm thinking of putting an electric pump on a 4 bolt housing and building a bracket for a fan pulley that would put the fan blade up to match the radiator. Looks like moving the radiator down would not be a good option. Thoughts?
