I know, then I came along and muddied the waters with the '68 and '69's I regard as a basis since they were common when I started as a mechanic. I remember being surprised to see a Holley 4bbl on a 1970 383 e body back in the day. Another list...all the '69 4 bbl 383's were AVS, in 1970, almost all were Holley's. I think it was a cost issue, the Holley's were cheaper and had more problems. Why they kept the AVS on the hi po 440's? shruggy
