Congrats! We have an 04 Dakota Quad cab. 2WD with a 4.7/545RFE. Good running and great driving little truck whose main job is to keep my wife from beating up my 04 Quad cab diesel...lol. Best advice I can give you on the new to you Dakota is to never let it overheat, and keep the oil changed at frequent intervals. I use a synthetic blend in ours, and change it every 3500 miles.
