Hi , by design the ring gear will pump and fling gear oil down the top casting to channel and feed the pinion bearings . I'm sure you won't have your angle as steep as a 4X4 truck . I've seen some so steep you wonder how the bearings last , but they do . What kind of a vehicle ? Ronnie
