I've seen people use both car and truck intakes with the truck cover, you just have to grind it to use a car intake. The eagle truck intake is supposed to be the best for midrange tq.
That is good to know on the Eagle intake, thank you! I thought in order to use the car intake you had to modify the cover as well as re route accessories.
a guy was on here a year or 2 ago, had a Dart. I think he actually used the 6.1 intake with a truck cover - he just ground on it to make it work.
I also need to use a truck cover for the turbo 5.7 I'm building for my Coronet because I need piping to go down where the oil filter and alt goes in the car arrangement. But I plan on just using the eagle truck intake, there's enough clearance in my car for the upturned TB
