So here's the scoop on the Summit 10% off codes from my experience. I was able to pick up a few codes at the Pittsburgh World of Wheels back in Jan of 2021 but you had to ask one of the Summit Reps in the booth for a code and they would hand out one or two. And they were still the stickers pasted to a mini-catalog of maybe 10 pages. World of Wheels was in late Jan and codes expired a month later late Feb. At the Mopar Nats, there were 10% off leaflets (8-1/2" tall by 5-1/2" wide single sheet of paper) available at the ticket booths when you purchased your entry ticket. I pretty much picked up one of these leaflets by accident as I bought my admittance pass. I was looking for a catalog with a sticker and the attendant person gave me this little flyer when I asked if they had any coupons or handouts. The guy gave me the leaflet and I was surprised to see that it was a Summit 10% of code! So I had everyone that I took with me to the Nats ask for a leaflet when they purchased their ticket. The leaflet was unusual in that the expiration date was 12/31/2021. That's a much longer window that normal but with all the COVID stuff making things crazy, I thought it was a great gesture that Summit was giving extra time to use the code. I walked all around the Nats looking to see if I could find any Summit Catalogs with 10% off stickers ... no luck.

I handed out the coupon codes earlier today. When Moparts people attempted to use the codes, the Summit Website was rejecting them as "invalid expiration date" or something to that effect. But most people were able to call and talk to a sales rep who would honor the code. Summit was saying that there was a "typo" on the leaflets from the Nats and the expiration date in their order processing system was set to end of November ... but if you talked to them, they were allowing the 10% off code to be used. That was pretty stand-up by Summit.

So Pittsburgh World of Wheels is scheduled a few short weeks from now on Jan 21-23 2022 ... let's hope that Summit will be handing out codes at this event and everyone should attend, pick up a code and get charged up for the 2022 cruise and race season!!

Happy New Year to all my Moparts Friends!!
