My Dad served in WWII in the Pacific War as a medic. When he told stories of the GI's socks rotting on their feet.....or cutting a man's leg off with a bandage scissor after an artillery shell hit..... I am not ashamed to admit I am not half the man my father was. Truly the greatest generation.
