I believe these car shows that are viewed on TV via cable- satellite and streaming are the same layout as "Professional Wrestling." Characters are actors and actresses performing to a script. I used to watch them. 20 years ago when Boyd Coddingtons' lead painter quit and was crying - that was a Jump the shark moment for me.
I loved the part where Boyd';s trophy wife was crying too.....yeah nothing going on there...
