Unless you have a 42/904 or 46/727 style trans in your mothers van there is no gasket, and Mopar doesn't use Right Stuff.
To break off the tang I use a small drift pin punch, blow it out with air if it didn't come out. You don't need the fancy tool either, don't apply a lot of pressure on the drill, allow the bit to do the work and it will be fine.
