Sorry, AMC. A little slow on the keyboard this morning.

hahaha! No worries. up

It's a great flick as far as 70's movies go. The plot actually makes sense; the action scenes are half-assedly believable. They actually use squibs more often than not so if somebody does get shot, it actually LOOKS like they've been shot. The car chase between Isaac Hayes in the Charger and the Pink Pimpmobile Lincoln is pretty good. It is the ONLY Blaxploitation film that Nichelle Nichols did.... I would assume she needed the money because it's totally out of character for her. Remember, she was friends with Martin Luther King and she felt she was a GOOD roll model for young girls on Star Trek. So, to be in a low-budget shoot-'em-up was totally against her grain for sure. Ditto with Yaphet Kotto. He rarely did Blaxploitation. He was WAY more A-list, appearing in movies like Live and Let Die and The Thomas Crown Affair.

If you wanna watch another one with some big 70's mopar action, check out Shaft's Big Score! He rolls in a FE5 '72 Satellite Sebring Plus with the rare suspender stripes. Couple really good car chases in that one, too.
