I was pondering this very thing last week when it suddenly occurred to me that other than the land yachts all Mopars are uni-body !!

I believe the 1966 Imperial was the last full framed Mopar car. Almost all the cars after 60 were unibody.

Not to go too far off topic but the 88-96 Dakota frames fit pretty well under the late 30s through the mid 50s cars & trucks. Wheel track is nearly perfect, and the Dakota has 3 different wheel base frames, shortening wheel base to match your car is not difficult. The 88-90 were 5 lug wheels on a 4 1/2" bolt pattern. The 91-96 were 6 bolt wheels but could easily be changed back to the 5 bolt style (front rotors, rear axles & drums). 97 and newer are 6 bolt as well, but changing those to a 5 bolt is a major operation.

My 48 Plymouth is on a Dakota frame. Nearly 100,000 trouble free miles. Gene
