Had he taken the vaccination before contacting the virus ? My understanding is it has to be administered before contracting the virus.

TJP, except for some underlying conditions already mentioned by Kidsixpack, he was fine until a week after his first vaccine - then he became very ill (that's the news I heard anyway). I'll keep my politics to myself, but I'll say I really wish he had
not gotten the first shot!
