Why are you wanting to use 4.050 pistons instead of 4.060 ? More C.I. = more power  Why not. Old valuable block like that, no sense boring it out past where it will clean up at, for a minimal gain in bore size. Unless its an all out race piece, and even then thick bores are nice to have.
