Numbers matching engine does not matter to me nearly as much as nice metal. It's not that new replacement metal is bad so much as the people applying it don't take the time to get it right so they have to use a lot of filler to cover inadequate workmanship.

Owning numbers matching perfection appears to take some of the fun out of it for cars over and above a certain price point. Occasional burnout? No way! Run it thru the gears? Hellz no!
