Heres my set up ....which heads would you run?

3400 65 b body
383. Stock bottom end. 1970 short block ultra low mileage. Zero ridge factory cross hatch still in place.
Crower .500 / 290 advertised mech flat tapped lifter
Tunnel ram with 450 holleys
Hooker comp headers. 3inch exhaust. Summit flow master knock offs
Crane iron rockers
Mallory unilite dist.
143 tooth flywheel. 23 spline 833 with liberty pro shift gears
Dana 60. 4.10 power lock.
Mini tubbed. 325/50-15 tires

Currently have ported 452's in the shop. 2.14 / 1.81 valves.
Have a local guy with a set of e street and a set of rpm eddy heads.
Both 75 cc chambers. Prices are reasonable.
Compression ratio figured in my head: 452s have been surfaced. Steel shim head gasket
452 heads 9:1
Eddy heads 9.75:1

With those compression numbers i think my cam is too big but then again i have seen worse run well. Crower recommended 9.2:1
Not moving away from solid lifters.....and this is the short block I have ready so I'm sticking with that.

Thinking the 75 cc chambers will help.....
I could mill my 452s down.

Which heads would you choose? Rpm ports too big for a 383?

Im unlikely to go smaller in camshaft. In fact i have two larger ones on the shelf.
Next one up is an stx19 racer brown mech flat tappet.

Which heads would you use or please feel free to correct my combo.

Its a street/strip car.....i don't plan to rack up miles and miles cruising.

I used to care but....... things have changed
