On a street car, I think the Cal tracs would be much more forgiving without the binding associated with ladder bars. Also a lot less to cut to get them in. If that matters to a person.
My old pump gas Duster with ladder bars and coil overs(15.0 inch extended with 7.0 inches of travel with 300 Lbs. rated springs) with a diagonal link never bound up or did anything worth complaining about in my opinion
I drove it on the street for over 3000 miles and put hundreds of passes on it, love it
You need to keep in mind that I'm a drag racer and love going fast and quick, not looking for a Lincoln or Rolls Royce ride either
