hi

408 stroker with 4-5000 miles , why do you need to change the fluid with such low miles ?

most all hi performance torqueflights use type F fluid , it is what i put in all my rebuilds !

wallmart brand works great .

i would not think about a fluid change till 30,000 + miles .

all stock typefilter should be fine , screen filter for race only .
if your fluid is still red and doesn't stink or smell burnt run it
I've drag race and won with Mopars since 1964, standard type F non synthetic is the only fluid choice I will use in them
Change when needed
