The Cal-tracs are a system and work best when you use all their components.
I tried them with SS springs and the car porpoised badly.
I ended up using the split mono's with the Cal-tracs and the Rancho/Calvert 9 position shocks.
With this setup it runs mid 1.50 60 ft.'s n/a and best of 1.36 with a 250 nitrous shot. All this is in a 3,700 lbs. car using only 275 ET Street Pro's.
I did recently upgrade to a Double Adustable Viking Crusader rear shock. I really need fronts for better control (currently 3 position adjustable CE shocks) and will upgrade them this Fall but so far the rears are working really well with the n/a tune. I would recommend a good double adjustable shock on all 4 corners at your power level.
