The 392 rear end is working out well. In my personal Ram which is the Special Service model- the 3:23 is good for my travelling, but i have to put it in the tow mode so it isn't bouncing in and out of the highest gear.
Glad to hear you went with the 392s, I remember back when you were ordering it and asked ... and I recommended it ...I'm so proud of myself
My v6 Ram (short day cab) has 355s, and hardly a day goes by that I don't wish it had 392s. Not sure it would make a big difference, but the v6 has NO torque, and like your other truck, I usually run in tow/haul just to avoid the constant up/down shifting.
