So I finally got my Super Bee to Pacemakers this past summer after all the lockdowns and protocols. For those that don't know the combo, the Cliff Notes version: '69 Bee. 512 low deck stroker with an ultralight crank, 10.5:1 compression, Trick Flow 240 heads, TF Track Heat intake, Thumpercarb 950. Scott Brown solid lift cam .563/.555. 18 spline Hemi 4-speed, 3.54 gears in the S-60. Cal-Trac split mono leafs with Smith Racecraft Assassin Bars.
All of my reaction times were abysmal, so I won't list them.
My first pass was a 2.549 60', but I drove through the clutch. It ran 11.9649@ 60.39 MPH. My friend that went with me asked those hard questions like " Did you let off the clutch all the way?" " What did you launch at?" "What did you shift at?" All of which I really didn't have an answer to. I'm guessing the answer to the first question would be no.

My next pass was a 2.3601 60' for an 8.5159@ 90.74. It felt good, pulled nice, and I still have no idea what I launched at or shifted at. I'm still getting used to the car, and I'm still all over the place staging, launching, etc.

The last pass was worse, 2.4661 60' and 8.751 @89.82 MPH. Not exactly the passes I hoped to put down, but I'll get there.

I took it out again a couple weeks later and ran my best pass to date, 2.0722 60' and 8.3304@91.77 mph.

The next pass was my best in the car, 2.0171 60' and a 7.9606@94.35 mph.
There were some passes after that, but between poor release of the line lock, the car getting too hot and stumbling on launch and some other driver-initiated flubs, they were nothing to brag about.
All passes were made on Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR radials aired down to 20 pounds. I look forward to this spring to try to dial in the driver mod and see what I can get it to run before I get overcome by the urge to add more power. I'm adding 02 sensors to it to try to dial it in some more.
It was a blast after 7 years of working on it, breaking it, and upgrading it to finally pull into the beams.
