what other brands ? icon is a good piston for the money. yes . are they as good as je or mahle ? i don't think so. i thought some kb icons were made in the usa ? i have seen them used in circke track engines and they worked fine. they did not come close to a mahle piston with respect to finish and power though. i would use them depending on where..
