After Exner, Elwood Engels was brought in from Ford and began his work on the '64-and-on slab-sided and reverse C-pillar Mopars until more or less 1968.
John Samsen had begun with Chrysler in 1955 and his proposal for the 1st Gen Barracuda was the one Chrysler approved. He continued with Chrysler for many more years involved in the Fury, RoadRunner, Duster, and Imperials .. In that timeframe, most Mopars where co-designed, not just one single designer.

Do you guys recall another Chrysler designer - who passed away not too many years ago? There was a post here.. His estate auctioned off a good number of memorabilia and original design sketches, including Barracuda proposals. I thought that was John Samsen, but there's no indication he has passed away.
