Who knows these days. My neighbor has one sitting in his garage that he hasn't touched in 10 years. When I was in high school I collected '56 F100 pickups. I bought them for $200 or $300 each from local farmers and then parted them out to guys in the city who were building hot rods. I had a nice little parts business going for a high school kid. I usually had 4 or 5 of those pickups sitting my parents back yard at any one time. I think they finally got tired of all the pickup parts in the yard so I sold it all off. My dad kept one of the nicer trucks for himself. It had a 312 Y block and the overdrive transmission.

I don't pay much attention to the Ford pickups these days but a buddy of mine just bought a nice '56. He paid $40K for it.
