I would stick with the Hughes cam and lifters. I have the same cam and rocker ratio going into a motor I'm building right now. I have always had extremely good luck with Hughes stuff. Just follow the install and break in instructions that come with the cam. As for rocker arms Do Not run steel on steel rockers. Can you post your results of your build for us?
