Well after bleeding the brakes once, tearing down the rear brakes (SSBC disc conversion), finding the (rear) hard lines plugged with rust/crap, blowing all that out, bleeding again, replacing the rubber lines all all four tires, and then bleeding a 3rd time, yes it stops pretty well. I'd say incrementally better than before - but not night/day. However, I will say it is approaching the brakes of a modern day car.
