The Modman intakes remind me of the early Eddy Street Tunnel cross ram intakes, lots of plenum volume.
Some motors like them and some don't shruggy
I had a racer friend who ended up with a Indy M.W. port mod man intake with the dual inline top, he ran it on his Indy SR M.W. headed bracket motor with dual inline Edlebrock 750 Competition series carbs, he love it but it was a drag race only car, not a street and strip car.
He had ran the car,19634 Dodge 330 two door sedan Max wedge clone car, with a stock Mopar cross ram with the Indy SR M.W. port size intake ports on it for years and then was offered the Indy mod man intake to try, he liked it a bunch and kept it up
