I've used a bunch of different piston makers in my long engine building and racing career, some where not as good as others but I know now to you buy a custom race piston for a race motor and not to buy a expensive race piston for a street and strip motor
I placed a order for a set of Probe shelf pistons for a pump gas RB motor with the Summit several years back, Summit racing side told me they would be drop shipped directly to me in 3 to 6 weeks. 10 months later I called Probe and ended up talking to another holding company who had bought them out along with several other SO CA piston companies, I got them several weeks later and they where made by Auto Tec
