I have a 440 Tunnel Ram Fury with 10.5:1 CR, Stealth Heads, XE284H comp cam, 69’ Block 060. over. etc the full build is linked here: https://board.moparts.org/ubbthread...-ram-68-fury-build-opinions-welcome.html
Long story short it’s had this chronic issue of the auxiliary mechanical Temp sensor winding way up to 250+ degrees, followed by A chugging upper road hose and a popping and clicking thermostat, but the stock temp sensor is unphased. Not too long after the auxiliary temp sensor drops back down to 180ish and it’s all normal.. I’ve tried head replacement, head gaskets, thermostats, radiators, rad hoses, etc. I’m open to all suggestions but ultimately I think I’m gonna need a new block. I have confirmed combustion in the coolant from a sniffer test as well. Here’s the chugging upper radiator hose and a possible valve train tick/knock that had recently just developed.
