i can't remember exactly, but i think those are attached by just a couple of tabs that get bent over, retaining the can to the housing.
i don't remember if the tabs are on the cans or the housings.
would it be possible to use a rattle can of wrinkle paint on the cans, then use a heat gun on a somewhat low heat to help the wrinkle effect ?
passing the gun back and forth somewhat quickly "should" help the wrinkle effect without heating the can up to the point of destroying the rubber diaphragm.
just a thought. please correct this if i'm wrong in my thinking.
