I have sold a well respected business, it was re sold a second time, both new owners were rather inept and more, and my professional reputation was only enhanced by their shortcomings, as the differences were stark. Maybe I was lucky or they were not slick enough to somehow place some blame on me.
Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
