I'm using a "modified" 1407 edelbrock on a 440. got tired of the factory avs's dirty burn and thought i'd try something different. used all the factory choke stuff and slipped in a primary shaft with a mopar throttle arm. works pretty good. burns much cleaner, drives nice but I think the factory avs makes a little more power. my next step is to see if I can find an edelbrock avs top for the 1407 to make secondary tuning a little easier.
