The 1/2" up doesnt do a thing.. in a stock design we put the return right on the bottom.. that
system is in every production Chrysler out there.. I worked in the Fuel and Exhaust lab for
35 years testing this stuff... the return just needs to be pointed away from the pick up
and the air will rise in the tank
