i have a 2000 dodge ram 4X4 360 auto. needs a fuel pump.
ordered from rock auto along with a lock ring just in case i need it. after a closer inspection online it looks like it's made of plastic, along with the tank, and just screws on. i have never installed one on this type truck yet so i don't know how it's done. should be a easy job the tank has new straps installed, 2 months ago when i bought the truck.
do i need the special tool or will a big channel locks work? or another install method. yes i have fuel line disconnect tools.
