Dang. This mortality stuff sucks.
Watched that show in glorious B&W as a kid, and remember his character's mischief as often being a high point.
Later, it kind of worked a little into my day-to-day :
Jerry Mathers' Dad was our High School Vice Principal.
Around 1970 or so, Jerry worked at my bank, always smiling & nodding yes to the inevitable questions.
A few years after that, he was in real estate, and showed a house I was selling.
I was supposed to leave, but instead just sat down & chatted with him.
He kept up with the other actors.
Seemed they were all pretty regular folks, not as affected as so many seem to be now...
