No need for a head unit anymore. Just use your smartphone and a streaming music app such as Tidal, which can stream uncompressed CD quality or better sound. Feed that signal to a digital audio processor through some amps and out to your speakers. Everything can be hidden and the sound quality depends upon your budget. The sky is the limit.....with the top down especially.
