I agree although we are going to be building a separate short block and bolting all this onto a low comp 440 for now.
TrickFlow are best bang for the buck and leave room for more later. I don’t like the quality of Edelbrock these days. By the time we had them worked and proper springs installed may as well have gotten the trickflows. We are also starting out with a hydraulic roller
that’s custom ground for a low comp 440. It’s 230/239 .520/.540 on 112lsa. Along with new heads and 1 3/4 shortys. I’d think it’ll make 450 with 8 to 1. Yes I did the math and even with 78cc chamber it’s still low. The car is an absolute turd currently. It barely breaks the tires loose.
