If you have the directions that came with the pump, read them carefully. The aluminum castings can crack easily if you use Teflon tape when installing your fittings to the pump body. Teflon tape is a no no. Seal them another way and don't overtighten.


Thanks! No instructions in the box.... what do you use in place of teflon tape?
