The race is still a go as of today, and I do not see that changing. The biggest issue will be no possibility of a makeup date. The next few weekends are tied up and EDC has the run of the facility for nearly a month to set up and tear down. The lack of hotel rooms will be an issue for sure, still not sure how this will affect the Fling and National and divisional events in the coming weeks. The push here shutting down two of the larger casinos is lawsuits from people contracting the illness. So they have made the decision to lay off workers and close their doors and ride it out. MGM has been struggling due to lawsuit outcomes from the shooting here.

My son and I are working way to many hours in a day to get my car fixed after an unfortunate incident, and his dragster done. We plan to be there if we have to pull in Friday morning before we are ready we will be there.

I have heard from a number of Canadians this past weekend who are now not coming. Seems to be some concern if they leave the country they may not be allowed back in. Also those with private health insurance up there have been told if they come down and contract the virus they will not be covered. I know for a fact that is taking out three cars and the Edmonton Cops.

The bottom line if you can get here and support this race DO IT. There is no excuse not to as it is the only race happening that weekend in this area, all others were cancelled. WCHRA in Bakersfield, The West Coast Classic in Phoenix, and the National Open in Fontana were all cancelled. Leaving this as THE place to be for racing this weekend. A $10K on Saturday, A $5K Quick 32 on Sunday, a $2500 Super Pro race, and a $1250 Pro class as well as many others. No reason not to be here
