You can often 'recover' a failing hard drive (temporarily) with Steve Gibson Research's Spin Rite software. I'd recomend running that on the drive, if it 'fixes' it, duplicate the drive to a new drive. Once they start to go bad, they won't live long even after fixed.

Thanks I will give that a try. I have a SSD in another PC that already has Windows 10 on it. Is that useable? I've been trying to back this up to the cloud but not having any luck doing that.
